Terms of service
1. Seller
These terms govern the distance sale of the works offered on axigallery.com by EXPENSIVE CHIODO LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under number 16882749, registered office 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury Saint Edmunds IP28 7DE, United Kingdom, trading as AXI Gallery ("AXI Gallery"), email concierge@axigallery.com, telephone +44 7882 738942. The version in force at the time of your order applies.
2. The works
Our works are sculptures in resin and fibreglass with a mirror-chrome finish, produced in limited editions of 15 hand-numbered pieces per artwork, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a luxury box. The mirror finish reflects its surroundings: slight differences from the images caused by your screen are not a defect. Works are available while stock lasts; the number of each piece is assigned at dispatch.
3. Prices
Prices for Italy and Spain are in euros, including VAT. Prices for the United Kingdom are in pounds sterling, inclusive of import duties and taxes (DDP shipping). Shipping is always free. The price shown when you place your order applies; in the event of an obvious pricing error we will contact you before dispatch, and you may either confirm the order or cancel it for a full refund.
4. Orders and formation of the contract
The contract is formed when you receive our order confirmation email summarising its contents. Should a work no longer be available, we will tell you straight away and refund you in full within 14 days. These terms are available in Italian, English and Spanish.
5. Payment
You can pay with the methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed in encrypted form by the payment provider, and card details are not stored by AXI Gallery.
6. Delivery
Times and arrangements are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery.
7. Right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, as described in our Returns & Withdrawal Policy.
8. Your statutory rights
If you live in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you legal rights if a piece is faulty or not as described. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject it for a full refund. After that, you can ask us to repair or replace it and, if that is not possible or does not fix the problem, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund. A fault that appears within 6 months of delivery is presumed to have been there at delivery unless we show otherwise. You can make a claim for up to 6 years after delivery (5 years in Scotland). If you live in the European Union, you have a legal guarantee of conformity of at least 2 years from delivery (3 years in Spain) under the law of your country. Nothing in these terms limits these rights. Damage caused by drops, misuse or cleaning with abrasive products is not a fault. To make a claim, please email concierge@axigallery.com.
9. Intellectual property
All text, photographs, videos, logos, trade marks and graphics on this site belong to EXPENSIVE CHIODO LTD (AXI Gallery) or their respective owners and may not be reproduced without written permission. Buying a work does not transfer any reproduction rights.
10. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law, courts and complaints
This contract is governed by the law of the country where you are habitually resident; if you live in the United Kingdom, by the law of the part of the UK where you live (England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland). Nothing in these terms takes away the protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of your country. You may bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live and, if you live in a different part of the UK from us, also in the courts of the part of the UK where we are based; we may only bring proceedings against you in the courts of the place where you live. For any complaint, please email concierge@axigallery.com: we will reply in writing within 10 working days. We are not currently a member of any alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. You can also contact Citizens Advice or the consumer protection authorities in your country.
